Jeralee Padia

A Celebration of Life service for Jeralee Padia, age 77 of Clarksville, will be Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans West Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Sykes Funeral Home. Jeralee  passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018.
She is survived by her husband Robert Padia, her son Jeffery(Kathy) Padia, brothers; Ralph Lakes and Denver(Norma)Lakes, and sister Pauline Melton, and granddaughter Ella.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tennova Hospice of Clarksville.

Jeralee's family is greatly saddened by her passing from this life. Yet, we praise God that, by repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ, we do "not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep." (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14)

We look forward to the day when the dead in Christ "will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable and this mortal body must put on immortality. When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:52-57)
