Jennie Solis Champagne, age 90 of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 11th at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robin Courtney officiating.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. today and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service tomorrw at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Sykes Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Champagne was born August 1, 1920 to the late Juan Solis and Juana Solis-Quinones. Other than her parents, brothers and sisters, she was preceded in death by her husband Albert L. Champagne, Sr. and daughter, Joyce Newton.
She is survived by sons, Albert L. (Karen) Champagne, Jr. of Clarksville, Danny Champagne of Clarksville; grandson, Jonathan Champagne of Clarksville and several nephews and nieces.
Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
