Jared went to basic and entered Combat Engineer School in March of 2010 before being assigned to Bravo Company 2nd CEB. Jared was a Marines marine. He was a whiz on the .50 cal and fit the bill of having a mean streak, but still able to be responsible and make good decisions. He trained and looked out for those under him, and worked constantly to better himself. He loved to work out and loved to be challenged, prove himself, and always wanted to know more. He attained the rank of Corporal and was the lead gunner during his deployment to Afghanistan. His service was honorable as a Marine, friend and brother to this great nation.
