Funeral service for Janice Blackwell, age 67 of Clarksville, will be Sunday, September 03, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Forest Street United Methodist Church. Pastor Sonny Kim will officiate. Burial will follow in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 02, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home and Sunday, September 03, 2017 from 2:00 PM until the time of service at Forest Street United Methodist Church.
Pallbearers will be; Don Wallace, David Baggett, Chris, Eric, Brandon and Charles Blackwell, Ronnie Byard, and Jayson McClendon. Honorary pallbearers will be nephews and great-nephews.
Janice passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. She was born on April 05, 1950 in Clarksville, TN to Sterlin and Margaret Blackwell.
She is survived by her forever friend; Beverly Edenfield, sisters; Linda Faye Byard, and Cerelle Baggett, brothers; Bill (Debbie) Blackwell, and Steve (Anna) Blackwell and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
