Jane Pollard Meek, 75, Clarksville, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 725 South Liberty Church Road, Clarksville, TN with Bro. Ronald Burgess officiating.
Burial will be in Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Meek was born March 10, 1934 in Montgomery County, daughter of the late William Buck and Lillian Thomas Harris Pollard.
Ms. Meek retired as a Budget Analyst, at Ft. Campbell, KY. She was a member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survived by three sons Danny Joe Meek, Larry Meek, and Alan Meek, all of Clarksville. Daughters Mary D. (David) Travis, Murfreesboro, TN, and Carol (Joe) Gaines of Smyrna, TN., and a brother William H. "Soapy" Pollard of Clarksville. Her grandchildren are Brian Travis, Jacob Travis, Joshua Travis and Lucas Gaines.
Pallbearers will be Bill Pollard, Bob Pollard, Ben Pollard, Jimmy Meek, Timmy Harris and Mike Harris.
