Funeral service for James Windell Moore, age 80 of Clarksville, will be Monday, Oct 03, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Sykes Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends on Sunday, Oct 02, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again on Monday from10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
James passed away on Thursday, Sep 29, 2016 at Centennial Medical Center. He was born on Mar 30, 1936 in Montgomery Co., TN. He was employed at Wortham's FoodTown from the time he was a teenager until his retirement. He was also a member of the Queen City Masonic Lodge #761 for over 50 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Ara Elizabeth Moore, daughters; Lori Powell and Angela Moore, and grandchildren: Nicole Powell and Ryan Powell.
