James Dawson (Pawpaw) Stack, age 92, of Clarksville, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Sunday evening March 25th, 2012 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. R. Randall Riggs officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening and 11:00 a.m. until hour of service on Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Stack was born February 17, 1920 in Montgomery County, TN to the late Albert and Jessie Henrietta Adams Stack.
He was a veteran of the US Army having served in the European Theatre with the rank of Sgt. T-4.
He was a Farmer and a member of Good Springs Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl Edna Simpson Stack; daughter, Cathy Elaine (John) Corlew; grand-daughter, Laura Elizabeth (Christopher) Howell.
Pallbearers will be Jeremiah Riggs, Joshua Riggs, Jacob Riggs, Herbert Davis, Tyler Davis, Christopher Howell, Bill Corlew and Steve Parks.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Nicholson, Wayne Hunter, Donnie Hunter and Greg Worley.
