James Edwin Shepherd

A Celebration of Life service for James Edwin Shepherd, age 65, of Clarksville, TN, will be Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 5:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday, March 14, 2025 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM and again on Saturday from 4:00PM until the time of service.

James, affectionately known as Jimmy, was born on August 25, 1959, in Montgomery County, TN, to John and Carlene Shepherd who preceded him in death. He passed away on March 12, 2025. Jimmy enjoyed bowling, model cars, and fishing. He loved going to Predator hockey games, off-roading, going to the movies, and anything Batman. Jimmy was also known for tracking down the elusive Big Foot and even spotted him twice.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Shepherd. He is survived by and lived with his niece and her husband, Joanna and Jesse Ferrell, and Jesse's son, Jase. Jimmy will also be missed by his caregiver, Taylor Petersen; his sweet dog, Yeti; and several other family members and friends.
