Funeral service for James David Shattuck, age 75 of Clarksville, will be Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Pastor Scott Witt will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home.
James passed away on Wednesday, December 06, 2017 at Ahava Healthcare of Clarksville. He was born on July 16, 1942 in Erie, PA to Paul Allen and Ellen Marie Shattuck. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, and a member of Gateway Christian Church. He retired from Motor Wheel in Lansing, MI and Unarco in Springfield, TN.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, David Shattuck and brother, Richard Shattuck.
He is survived by his wife of 49 and a half years, Dorothy Shattuck, daughter, Cecilia (Daniel) Brinkley, siblings; Robert (Sue) Shattuck of California, Loretta (Brian) Richards, Bonnie Sipos of Ohio, Judy (Al)Clark of Michigan, Colleen (Mike) Summerville of Michigan, grandchildren; Christopher, Kadie, and Travis Clements of Texas, great-grandchildren; Jaden and Olyvia of Texas.
The family wants to give a special thanks to Ahava Healthcare of Clarksville and Tennova Hospice for their truly compassionate service.
