A Celebration of Life service for James "Richard" Phillips, age 69 of Clarksville, will be Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunnyview Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 16, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and again on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the hour of service. Richard passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019. He was born on October 14, 1949 in Montgomery Co., TN to Doc and Ermie Smith Phillips.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Phillips.
Richard is survived by his daughters, Lanna (Terry Dennis) Jones and Stacey Phillips; grandchildren, Kelsey Vance and Kaelyn Ladd; brother, Scotty Phillips; and sister, Kathy Reuter.
