Funeral service for James "Jack" Homer Lee, age 85 of Clarksville, will be, Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 1:30 PM at Grace Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home and again on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 12:30 PM until the time of service at Grace Lutheran Church.
Jack passed away on Monday, May 30, 2016 at his residence. He was born on January 27, 1931 in Montgomery County, TN to James and Myrtle (Hodges) Lee. Jack served in the United States Army and served during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Lee, and great-grandson, Anderson Blackwell.
He is survived by his wife, Desrae Lee, daughters; Sarah Lee (Les Paul) Greene, Linda E. Lee, Jacqueline Lee Grinstead, LaDonna Lee Morse, sisters; Helen Mayfield, Martha Love Appleton, grandchildren; Nicholas Greene, LesLee Blackwell, Katie Pegram, Jamie, Alaina and Lucas Grinstead, Jacob and KarLee Morse, and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Harper Greene Cancer Fund at Cumberland Bank & Trust or Grace Lutheran Church.
