Funeral service for James Larry Jackson, age 69 of Clarksville, will be Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home . Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 10:00 am to 2:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home.
Larry passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare. He was born on October 08, 1947 in Clarksville, TN to Melvin Jackson, Jr. and Maria (Gomez) Taggert. Larry enjoyed drag racing, playing chess, reading and playing online games. He was retired from the Trane Company.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Jackson.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Jackson, son, Scott (Amy) Jackson, daughter, Cindy Jackson, brother, David Jackson, step-father, Bob Taggert, grandchildren; Victoria and Carter Jackson.
