James Robert Bell, age 67 of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2013 at his residence. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Lauder and Rev. Billy Bell officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and 1:00 p.m. until hour of service on Sunday at the Funeral Home. Cremation will follow.
He was born March 11, 1946 in Clarksville, TN to the late John Russell and Dorothy Adkins Bell. He was a retired Maintenance Supervisor with the Clarksville Transit System.
He is survived by wife, Trish Hunter Bell; daughters, Kim Brown, Lisa (Dale) Phillips; son Jerry Pardue; siblings, Ellen (Johnny) Willhite, Cynthia (Billy) Moore, Jo Bell, Billy (Judy) Bell, Pam (Roger) Clark; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Kelly, Don Smith, Jimmy Lyle, Johnny Powell, David Rushing, Terry Brown and Mac Smith.
