Irmgard Martin Carnley, age 71. Of Clarksville passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013 at her residence. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. The Funeral Service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Christ Lutheran Church with Pastor Lott officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church on Wednesday. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
She was born in Germany on September 24, 1942 to the late Karl Martin and Hildegard Martin.
She was employed in Food Services at Austin Peay State University for 35 years and a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
Other than her mother, Hildegard Martin she is survived by her husband, Lee Roy Carnley; son, Vance K. (Robin) Johnson, Jr.; daughters, Tammy (Eddie) Stacey, Stacey Davis, Serena Chaplan, Tabitha Curtis; sisters, Wally McRorie of OR, Alice Johnson of ND; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Stacey, Philip Nagle, Michael Carpenter, Donnie Carpenter, Dewey Carnley and Chris Johnson.
