Ingrid Westbrook

Funeral service for Ingrid Krieger Eggert Westbrook of McMinnville (formerly of Clarksville)will be Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Ingrid was born in Hanau, Germany on April 4, 1935, passed from this life to be with our Lord on Saturday, February 24, 2018. She was preceded in death by parents Karl C. and Else Neugebauer Krieger, sisters Ursula Krieger Porsch, Waltraud Krieger Nickle, and Edith Krieger, husbands Arthur R. Eggert and Robert Kent Westbrook Jr.  She is survived by sons Donald R. Eggert (Maria) of Versailles, KY; Dennis W. Eggert (Patricia) of McMinnville, TN; Duane “DD” A. Eggert of Canton, GA. Grandchildren Jayme Eggert Nalley (Scott), Susan Eggert Asiata (Francois), Alexa Eggert, Natasha Eggert, and Brandon Eggert. Great-Grandchildren Kaitlyn and Remington Asiata, Jackson and Levi Nalley and many special friends. She was a W.W. II survivor as a child. She married, and moved with her new family to the United States of America were she became an American citizen. She was a cancer survivor, an amazing cook, an avid University of Tennessee football fan, and loved to sing and work in her garden and yard. She was a member of Living Word Fellowship in McMinnville. The family would like to convey its sincere gratitude to the Webb House Assisted Living staff, as well as CARIS Hospice for the exceptional care, love, and compassion provided to “Ms. Ingrid.”
