Inez Louise Austin, 81, Lavergne, TN, died Tuesday, November 17, 2009, at Peachtree Nursing & Rehab.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Tim York officiating.
Burial will be in Austin Cemetey. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Austin was born March 11, 1928 in Cadiz, KY, daughter of the late John Dick and Florence Ellen Jones Guier. She was preceded in death by her husband Russell Austin, son Jackie Ray Austin, daughter Susan Diane Austin, five brothers and one sister.
She was a homemaker and member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children Gary Austin and wife Myra of Lavergne, TN; and Linda Squires and husband Owen of Lewiston Idaho. Other survivors include three sisters Laverne Mart, Roseville, MI; Mymie Cheatham, Chicago, IL, and Frances Smith of Huntsville, AL, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
