Funeral service for Ida Lee Wallace, age 92 of Clarksville, will be Sunday, Jan 22, 2017 at 1:30 pm at the Sykes Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Larry Robertson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Rock Springs Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Jan 21, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home and Sunday, Jan 22, 2017 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Sykes Funeral Home. Ida passed away on Friday, Jan 20, 2017 at Spring Meadows Healthcare. She was born on Jan 15, 1925 in Southside, TN to James Anthony and Mary Alice Gafford. She was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church. She worked at the Petri Cigar Factory, Bootster, and Trane Co., She is preceded in death by her husband John Hartwell Wallace and siblings, Vernon Anthony Gafford, Inez Gafford, Hallie Travis, Willie Mae Sutton, Addie Gafford and Jo Ann Vanzant. She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Richardson; grandchildren, Tara (Chris) Garber, and Rand Richardson; great-grandchildren, Christoper & Megan Garber; brother, Burton Gafford.
