Funeral service for Homer H. Suiter Jr., age 85 of Clarksville, will be Monday, June 06, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Pleasant View Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 05, 2016 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home and Monday, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Pleasant View Baptist Church.
Homer passed away on Friday, June 03, 2016 at Clarksville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on June 23, 1930 in Montgomery Co. TN to Homer and Annie (Davidson) Suiter. He was a lifetime member of Pleasant View Baptist Church, where he served as a Sunday school teacher and a deacon. He served in the United States Army and was a retired barber. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Susie Suiter, son, Brad C. Suiter, daughter, LaDonna (Gordon) Clinard, granddaughter, Hannah E. Clinard, brother, Aubrey E. Suiter, sisters; Rebecca Aleridge, and Mildred Berlin, and several nieces and nephews.
