Funeral service for Homer Lee Mayfield, age 93 of Clarksville, will be Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Southside Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Homer passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Dogwood Bend. He was born on July 02, 1922 in Montgomery Co., TN to Alvin Mayfield and Birdie Mayfield. He served in the US Army and was a carpenter. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his 3 sons, Marvin, Donald, and David. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Mayfield of Clarksville; Son, Roy Lee and his wife Ann Mayfield; 12 grandchildren 21 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
