Herschel Shelton

Herschel Brent Shelton, 72, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Decemeber 23, 2023. 

Herschel was born on March 30, 1951 in Cadiz, KY to Guiley and Georgia Shelton. Herschel was a great singer, a Vietnam Veteran, and an entertainment bus driver. Early in life Herschel sang in a gospel quartet called the Kentucky Gospel Singers. He spent over 10 years as an over the road truck driver and then moved on to spend over 25 years driving tour buses for the entertainment industry.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Shelton and sister, Barbara Guier. He is survived by his daughter Kristin (James) Sandefur, granddaughters, Jasmine Velez and Flora Sandefur, brother, Ralph Shelton, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Professional Drivers Monument Fund in Hendersonville, TN.
