Herbert Lee Cunningham, 74, Palmyra, died Sunday, May 25, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Irby Stanley officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. till 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at Sykes Funeral Home. Sykes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Cunnigham was born in Montgomery County, TN August 19, 1933 son of the late John Richard and Lois Jines Cunningham. He was a retired farmer and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his son, Donald Cunningham of Clarksville, TN; granddaughters, Jenifer Cunningham of Savannah, GA and Jessica Cunningham of Charlotte, NC; brother, Billy Cunningham of Palmyra, TN.
