Funeral service for Herbert Leroy Austin, age 78 of Clarksville, will be Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Sykes Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. David Mackens will officiate. Burial will follow in the Austin Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home.
Herbert passed away on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare. He was born on May 07, 1938 in Stewart Co., TN to Lacy Austin and Clara Austin. He was a restraint owner for many years, he owned Madison Street Big Burger, Kelly's Big Burger and Pic-A-Rib here in Clarksville.
He is survived by his daughter, Traci (Thomas) Kelly; brother, Billy, Kelly and Freddie Austin; grandson, Dalton Austin; step-granddaughter, Brooklynn Crosby.
