Helen Wynn Kelly, age 91, of Clarksville passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Spring Meadows. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Monday, August 18, at Pleasant View Baptist Church, 1388 Cumberland Heights Road with Rev. James Sanders officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 17 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home. Visitation will also take place on Monday from 11:00 am until the hour of service at Pleasant View Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Baptist Cemetery.
Helen was born December 20, 1922 in Faxon, TN to the late Jesse and Tippy Perry Wynn. She worked the majority of her life as a sales representative retiring from Wal-Mart. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church, a loving mother, grandmother, and strong woman of faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Herman Ray Kelly and several siblings.
She is survived by her daughter Phyllis "Penny" Boyd and her husband John; son, Philip Kelly; grandchildren, Kelly Daley, Genny (Jeremy) Fidler, Lori (Ryan) O'Nan, and Bryan (Mandy) Boyd; great-grandchildren, Parker, Mason, Gabi, Bailey, Isaiah, Sabrina and Jake.
Pallbearers will be Ken Thompson, Ronal Deffendoll, Wayne Kelly, Danny Deffendoll, Bryan Boyd, and Jeremy Fidler.
