Helen Mildred Johnson, age 101 of Joelton, TN formerly of Clarksville, TN passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013 at her residence. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Sykes Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Robertson officiating.. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 and 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday at the Funeral Home.
She was born November 6, 1911 in Stewart County, TN to the late Ed and Hattie Hester Cannon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John W. Johnson; children, William Robert Johnson and Johnny Sandbach Johnson.
She was a homemaker and a member of Kenwood Baptist Church.
She is survived by children, Lillian Marie McCleod of MS, Betty Lou Frommel of Joelton, TN, Edward Guinn Johnson of Clarksville; 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Charlie P. Johnson of Hopkinsville, KY.
Pallbearers will be Darryl Tyce, Terrance Tyce, Eddie Hodges, John Frommel, Jr., Josh Johnson, and Rob Durrett.
