Harold "Pete" Eugene Sheppard

A Celebration of Life service for Harold "Pete" Eugene Sheppard, age 87, of Clarksville, TN, will be Monday, December 30, 2024 at 12:00PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. 

Pete passed peacefully on December 20, 2024 in Clarksville Tennessee. He was preceded in death by William and Louise Sheppard he was one of 14 children. Pete was a devoted family man who married Linda Evans in 1958, they were married 57 years, Linda passed November 25, 2015. Pete worked laying water lines in Montgomery and Dickson Counties in Tennessee and Warren County, KY. He worked for Moore Construction for many years then for Sheppard's Construction Company for many years until retiring. Pete loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a friend to many and loved to fish and golf.

He is survived by Barbara Jean Elliot, his sister, 4 children Timothy Sheppard (deceased), Tammy Helmick (Jeff) Kim Sheppard Klumb (Chuck), and Terrance Sheppard (Karen). He had 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Hottle (Brent), Brittany Topping (Michael), Chris Miller (Sandra), and Stephanie Schofield (Brent). He had 11 Great Grandchildren, Kadi and Noah Hottle, Emerson and Emilia Topping, Aria, Elijah, and Lilly Miller, Evelyn and Jackson Schofield, Bella Greer and Dayton Klumb.
