Gregory "Hubba" Wayne Cross, age 56, of Clarksville passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Centennial Medical Center. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Carrigan officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Greg was born in Clarksville, TN on February 12, 1958 to the late Wayne and Patsy King Cross. He was a member of the Hickory Point United Methodist Church. He was owner of Cross Construction Company.
He is survived by wife, Mary Ellie Cross; children, Justin Cross, Kayla Cross, Damon Spriggs, Hunter Cross; granddaughter, Karson Spriggs, and sister, Elaine (Andy) Swaffer.
Pallbearers will be Horace Heggie, Norris Heggie, Ricky Rougemont, Victor Nicholson, Danny Nicholson and Dwayne Clawson.
