Glen Thompson

Glen Darrell Thompson, Sr., 53, Clarksville, died Friday, July 31, 2009, at Veterans Hospital in Nashville. No local services are planned. Mr. Thompson was born September 6, 1955 in Brooklyn, New York son of the late Charles R. Thompson and Vivian G. Cornell Thompson. He was retired from the U.S. Army where he served from 1986 until 2005 and was awarded many honors. Mr. Thompson also specialized in preparing excellent Bar-B-Q. Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife Stephanie Thompson, son U.S. Army Sgt. Glen D. Thompson, Jr, U.S. Marine Sgt. Eric A. Thompson and his wife Ashley; daughters, Christine Thompson and Tia Thompson; brother Lee D. Thompson and sister Melahie Y. Bailey and one grandchild Jasmin.
