Gisela Edwards

A Celebration of Life service for Gisela Edwards, age 77 of Clarksville, will be Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Dr. Carl E. Livingston will officiate, Dr. Ed Thomas Edwards will deliver the Eulogy, Minister David Rogers will read from the New Testament, and Evelyn Mathurin will read from the Old Testament. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.  The family will receive friends on Monday, January 13, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home and again on Tuesday from 11:30 until the time of service at the church.

Gisela  passed away at her home on Friday, January 10, 2020.  She was born on August 31, 1942 in Strausbourg, France to Frank and Frieda Rimbach.  She was a member of Community Church Ft. Campbell, and was baptized in June 1995. She was also co-owner of Franks Products. Gisela enjoyed knitting and loved children.

Gisela is survived by her loving husband of 48 years Frank Edwards, daughter Christina (Daryl) Hayes, grandchildren: Amya Hayes, Taliyah Burch, Jacorey Hayes, and Jaevian Hayes.

Deacons of Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist will serve as pallbearers.
