Gene Hogan

Gene Autry Hogan, age 76, of Clarksville passed away on February 14, 2016. He was born March 24, 1939 in Indian Mound, TN to Marvin and Earthel Hogan.
Funeral Service for Mr. Hogan will be Wednesday February 17, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday February 16, 2016 and again on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the hour of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Gene was a member of Hilldale Church of Christ. In his spare time he enjoyed being with his family and fishing, where he always caught the biggest fish.
In addition to his parents, Gene is preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Clapp. He is survived by a son, Gary Hogan, daughters; Sarah (Bill) Dillon and Sandra Gay (Ronnie) Page, brothers; James Hogan, L.C. Hogan, and Benny Hogan, sisters; Anita West, Nancy Hodge, Duann Lawson, and Betty McCuiston, grandchildren; Christine, Casey, Brittney, Wesley, Joshua, and Jessica, great-grandchildren; Autry and Peyton.
