Gay Blanton

A Celebration of Life service for Gay Frances Blanton, 81, of Clarksville, TN will be Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:30 AM until the hour of service. Gay passed away peacefully at her home on March 27, 2025. She was born on July 15, 1943 to Malcolm and Elsie Wear in Ventura, CA.

Gay was a food service worker at the Ft. Campbell, KY officers club for many years and received awards, including "Employee of the Year."

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Blanton, sons, Gary Wayne Blanton and Robert Wayne Blanton, grandson, Russel Malcolm Wallace, sister, Sylvia Holland, and brother, Michael Wear. Gay is survived by her daughter, Angela Wallace, nieces, Debra Harden and Laura Graham, grandchildren: Jacob, Eric, Sally, Abel, Melody, Phoenix, Ava, Aiden, Rachel, and Jordan, and great grandchildren, Noah and Gabriel Austin.

The family is very grateful to all our hospice groups for all they do to provide the best care.
