Garner Roosevelt Griffey, age 79 of Clarksville, Tennessee, joined our Lord and Savior, his parents Lacy H. Griffey and Nannie J. Shirley, his son Mark Garner Griffey, and his brother John W. Griffey on November 28. He is survived by his son David K. Griffey and wife Sandra, son Rickey H. Griffey and wife Brenda, son Carl A. Griffey , and daughter Susan J. Hembree and husband James, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two step grandchildren. He is also survived by Joy Hilliard Moody, mother of his children, his sisters Shirley Burkhart and Eleanor Matthews, and brothers Hubert and Wallace Griffey, and friend Deborah Brinton.
