Freddie Lyle

Heaven has a new angel. Freddie Louise Yarbrough Lyle, age 71, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, March 31, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Rev. Jerry Jeter and Rev. Gary Herndon officiating. Burial will follow at Alex Yarbrough Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of service.

Freddie entered this life on July 1, 1951, to the late Harry Eugene and Jennie Ruth Black Yarbrough. She married the love of her life, Bobby G. Lyle, on August 29, 1969. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. She spent her life caring for, loving and raising many children in Cumberland Heights.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Geneva Blackard, Frank Yarbrough, and Patsy Schrimpshire. In addition to her husband, survivors include children, Bobby Leroy (Glenda) Lyle, Dorothy (Kevin) Austin, Glen Darrell (Mindy) Blackard, grandchildren, Matthew and Emily Davidson, Katie and Jackson Mount, Dylan Byard, Dusty Blackard, great grandchild, Mylo Davidson, devoted sisters-in-law Byde Lyle and Shirley Chandler, and many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
