Frances Louise Davis Black, age 84 of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Spring Meadows Nursing Home. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at Sykes Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 and 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Lone Oak Cemetery.
She was born April 7, 1930 in Montgomery County to the late Howard and Laura Louise Eades Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Black; son, Terry Black; son-in-law, Jim Nelson); 2 brothers and 1 sister.
She was a Housewife.
She is survived by sons, Danny (Gayle) Black; daughters, Linda Nelson; Joyce (Jim) Gibson; 9 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
