Frances Adams

Frances Grace Carter Adams, 75, Clarksville, died Friday, November 12, 2010, at Skyline Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Carl Freudenthal, Minister Doug Wilson and Billy Wallace officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. til 4:00 p.m. Sunday and from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Adams was born October 17, 1935 in Clarksville daughter of the late Sam Carter and Dora Holt Carter. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Paul N. Adams and infant son James Andrew Adams. Mrs. Adams was a supportive soldier's wife, mother, homemaker and also worked in the retail management field. She was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church. Mrs. Adams is survived by sons Lance Christopher Adams, James Paul (Cindy) Adams, daughters Kemetha Ann Adams all of Clarksville, Sharon Marie (Kenny)Williams of Russellville, KY and daughter/grandaughter Jordan Kristen Adams, sisters; Margaret Parker and Katherine Bostick all of Clarksville, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Marine CORPS Toys for Tots or your local Humane Society.
