Floyd Raymond Seay - 1931 Floyd Raymond Seay, 79, Clarksville, died Friday, October 29, 2010, at St. Thomas Hospital. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p..m. Tuesday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Stark officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday and from 10:00 a.m. til the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Seay was born February 9, 1931 in Trenton, Kentucky son of the late Lester and Martha Bracey Seay. Mr. Seay was a veteran of the US Army, a former Firefighter with the Clarksville Fire Department and retired from the Fort Campbell Fire Department. Mr. Seay loved to dance and play pool. He was a regular attendee at the Ajax Turner Senior Citizens Center for the past fifteen years. He enjoyed socializing and being around people. Mr. Seay is survived by his sisters; Mildred(Bob) Ward, Tampa, FL, Ann (Bob) Hicks, Clarksville a son; Mike (Jan) Seay, Clarksville and daughters; Debbie (Doug) Bumpus, Clarksville, Linda (Rod) Zitek, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Doug Bumpus, Bryan Bumpus, Scotty Seay, Rod Zitek, Andy Mansell and Wes Klein. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tommy Scott and Clarksville and Fort Campbell Firefighters. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made in Mr. Seay's memory to the Ajax Turner Senior Citizens Center.
