Florence Dilly Rye, age 99, passed away Wednesday Feb 2, 2012 at her home. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Ripley officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart Cemetery. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Florence Rye was born March 13, 1912 in Dickson County to the late John and Nancy Bailey Dilley. She was preceded in death by her husband W. J. Rye and son Donald R. Rye.
Mrs. Rye was a homemaker, living most of her life in Montgomery County.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary (George) Keeler, Ashland City, Alice Work, Clarksville, TN, and Rachel (Robert) Ripley of Crofton, KY. She has eleven grandchildren, numerous great, and great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
