Florence Elizabeth "Nippy" Selph, age 77, of Clarksville passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Clarksville Nursing & Rehab. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Kail officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
Elizabeth was born May 28, 1937 in Clarksville, TN to the late Mannie and Florence Hodge Stewart. She was a lifetime member of New Providence Baptist Church and blessed her family as a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Selph; two brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her daughters; Nancy Van Wormer and her husband Dennis, Rhena McWhorter, Tracie Swift, Bobbie Jo Hiatt and her husband Jeff; sister Martha Lisenbee; grandchildren, Dana McWhorter, Beth Martin, Justin Haggard, Jordin Swift, Haleigh Gill; great-grandchildren, Ian Pacheco and Brennan Dinser arriving in February.
Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
