A cherished and loving mother, Evelyn Caroline Wright, age 80, of Clarksville, TN, formerly of Quincy, MA, peacefully passed away in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, February 11, 2012.
She leaves behind to treasure her memory, her husband of 60 years, CSM William C. Wright Jr., 3 daughters; Evelyn Kaiser, Debora Evans and Sharon Perry; 3 sons; William C. Wright III, Wayne Wright and Michael Wright; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and countless wonderful friends.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Republican Ladies, a well traveled and dedicated Army wife, and former Boy and Girl Scout troop leader, and a volunteer school nurse.
Visitation will be Tuesday February 14th, 2012 from 4 to 8 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm at Sykes Funeral Home and Wednesday February 15th, 2012 from 10am to 11am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. A High Mass will be held in her honor on Wednesday at 11am at the church. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Entombment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, upon her request, donations are asked to be sent to St Jude_
