Evelyn Jessie Lane of Clarksville, TN died December 25,2012 at her residence. Funeral Services will be December 29, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday December 28, 2012 from 3:00 pm till 7:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home and again on Saturday December 29, 2012 from 9:00 am until the time of service.
Mrs. Lane was born on Oct. 19, 1936, in Murfreesboro, TN to the late Earl Benjamin and Beulah Rollins Gannon; wife to the late, Edgar Allen Lane. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Benjaman, Robert, Edward and Russell Gannon. She was a member of Pardue Memorial Free Will Baptist Church and retired from the Montgomery County Nursing Home.
Survivors include four daughters, Debbie Osborne (Eugene), Lisa Shinton (Jimmy), Holly Stanley (Andy) and Rhonda Sykes (Jeff) all of Clarksville, TN; eleven sons, Mike Lane, Lonnie Lane , Leland Lane, Tim Lane, Keith (Louise) Lane, Rusty Lane, Phillip (Nena) Lane, Roger Lane and Terry Lane, all of Clarksville; Brian (Amanda) Lane of Dickson and Jerry (Tina) Lane of Nashville; 30 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren; Three sisters, Mildred Black, Geneva Black and Elsie Stem of Murfressboro; Four brothers, James, Wayne, Stanley and Charles Gannon of Murfreesboro.
Grandsons and one son will serve as pallbearers.
