Evangeline Smith Mandeville , age 88, of Clarksville passed away Tuesday March 7, 2012 at Montgomery Care & Rehabilitation. Visitation will be Friday March 9th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home and Saturday March 10th at Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church from 10 a.m. until the hour of service. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at Sango Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Stovall officiating.

Ms Evangeline Mandeville was born October 20, 1923 in Montgomery County to the late Walter L Smith Sr. and Mary Etha Poole Smith.
She was preceded in death by her husband Horace Mandeville, one brother, Ronald Smith: 5 sisters, Stella Corine Smith, Martha Elliott, Mildred Davidson, Margaret Dowdy, Flora Bell Legate: 2 brothers-in-law, Ernest Davidson and Bill Dowdy.
Mrs. Mandeville was a Retired Company Nurse of Acme Boot, a Member of Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church, a choir member, and Sunday School Secretary.
She is survived by one brother, W.L. (Martha) Smith Jr., of Clarksville, one sister, Nancy (Jimmy) Davidson of Clarksville, 2 brothers-in-law, Ralph Elliott and Hyman Legate both of Clarksville and one sister-in-law Earleen Smith of Clarksville, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be nephews, Todd Davidson, Tim Smith, Terry Davidson, Donnie Legate, Pat Dowdy, Danny Smith, and Van Smith.
