Ervin L. Lyle, age 68, went to be with his Lord on October 26, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center. Funeral Service will be Saturday Oct 29, at 11:00 a.m. at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Huff and Bro. Harold Batson officiating. Visitation will be Friday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in Baggetts Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements by Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.
Mr. Lyle was born March 8, 1943 in Montgomery County, son of the late Raymond Lyle and Johnnie Jackson Lyle. He was retired foreman with the Montgomery County Highway Dept after 46 years of service and member of Liverworth Church of God of Prophecy.
He is survived by his wife Edna B. Lyle, sons Randy Wall, Jeff Wall, Ray Lyle, Robert Lyle and daughter Connie Horn. Other survivors include his brother Bobby Lyle, sister Shirley Chandler and six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
