Elizabeth Parker

Funeral service for Elizabeth Parker, age 84 of Woodlawn, will be 11:00 AM Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on Thursday May 10, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the time of service.

Elizabeth went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 07, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on Oct 29, 1933 in Montgomery County, TN to Claudie and Florence Stamper.  She was a member of Oakwood Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Henry Parker Jr. She is survived by sons; Ronald (Jean) Parker, Russell (Melissa) Parker, Timmy Parker, Terry (Theresa) Parker, daughter Debby (Jimmy) Harmon, brother Claudie Stamper Jr. (Lorraine), sister Beverly (Carter) Styles of Knoxville, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Russell Parker, Terry Parker, Claudie Stamper Jr., Anthony Morrow, Kenneth Morrow, and Chris Parker.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oakwood Freewill Baptist Church Building Fund 2551 Church Lane Woodlawn, TN 37191.
