Eleanor Booth

A memorial service for Eleanor Booth, 92 of Clarksville, will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Sykes Funeral Home. Geoffrey Sikes will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 3:00-6:00PM and again from 9:00AM until the hour of service.

Eleanor passed away on November 4, 2018. She was born in Clarksville on August 25, 1926 to Oscar Welker and May Ellen Dennis. She attended Madison Street Church of Christ, now Trenton Crossing Church of Christ. Eleanor worked many years for Conroy, Marable and Holleman Insurance Company. She was a member of the Ladies Bible Class and the Insurance Women's Club.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 60 years Kenneth Booth, and brother Paul Welker. She is survived by daughter Linda Cornelius and son-in-law Jerry Cornelius of Pembroke, KY, sisters Margaret Ann Marshall of Clarksville and Doris Darnell of Goodlettsville, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will serve as pallbearers.
