Effie Mae Thompson Killebrew, age 82 of Clarksville passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center. Sykes Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. today Friday, May 24, 2013 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dwight Reed officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service today at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
She was born May 4, 1931 in Montgomery County to the late Herschel and Myrtle Shelton Thompson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Macon Killebrew; son, Kenneth R. Killebrew; brothers and sisters, Ivie Evans, Rena Smith, David Thompson and Trattner.
She was a homemaker and a member of New Providence Baptist Church.
She is survived by son, Ronald C. Killebrew; daughter, Marjorie Ann Tanner; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Family and Friends will serve as Pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the New Providence Baptist Church.
