Edy Vazquez, age 46, of Clarksville, TN passed away Jan.7, 2012. A Rosary service for Mrs. Vazquez will be 5:00 pm Thursday, Jan. 10, 2012 at Sykes Funeral Home.
Edy is survived by her loving husband Jose Vazquez of 15 years, a daugher, LinaMarie Girouard, mother Ramira Irizarry, sisters: Enna Irizarry, Ponce Puerto Rico; Eva Irizarry and Milagros Calvetti both of Springfield, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her father, Edelmiro Irizarry and brothers Edgar Irizarry and Eddy Irizarry. She was born Aug. 9, 1966 in New York City, raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2012 from 2:00 pm until the hour of service. Milagros Calvetti, Edy's sister, will conduct the service.
Edy will be remembered as a very loving caring and compassionate person, who was full of life, with a smile that can light up a room. She lead a prayer life and had a love of animals, hers and all those in the neighborhood that knew she would have food and treats for them.
Her big, loving heart and generous spirit will always be kept in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.
