Edward "Eddie" Legere

Edward "Eddie" Louis Legere, age 43 of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Centennial Medical Center. He was born on January 20, 1977 in Phoenix, AZ to Edward and Marjorie June Legere.

In addition to his parents he is survived by: his children, Garrett Legere and Ashley Legere; his brother, Robert Legere; and his cousin, Nicole June, who was like a sister to him.

Eddie spent his time professionally as a craftsman, particularly in the areas of cabinetry and woodworking. His work spilled over into his free time as a lifelong hobby, producing beautiful, handcrafted pieces for his family and friends.

His creative talents also manifested in the form of mechanics. From an early age, Eddie liked to work with his hands and study how machines operate. He never hesitated to help anyone with a vehicle or household item, and he had a knack for fixing even the most stubborn of motors.

Before his passing, Eddie had been enrolled as a student at Nashville State Community College. He also enjoyed experimenting with cooking and would whip up delicious meals for his family.

Eddie leaves behind a loving family and countless friends who will remember him for his sense of humor, his mild manner, and his chuckle that could make anyone feel comfortable talking to him. Though his passing was sudden, his legacy will live on in his children and the love and light he shared with them.

Out of respect for Eddie’s wishes, he will be cremated and no services are planned.
