Edward Keith Kirby, age 85, of Clarksville passed away, Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Fieldstone Place. Sykes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7
th
, 2013 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Stovall officiating.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2013 and 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
He was born in Minneapolis, MN on October 26, 1927 to the late Archie and Maude Todd Kirby. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Louise Anne Larson Kirby; brother's Patrick and Michael Kirby.
Mr. Kirby retired from the US Army with 20 years of service and retired from the Trane Company as a welder after 21 years.
He is survived by son, Kenneth Clayton (Anita) Kirby ; daughters, Jacquelyn Ann Taylor, Teresa Kathleen (Todd) Bredlau; sisters, Florence Senske, Margaret Rickersen, Marion Kine; grandchildren, Melissa Sawyer, Jeffrey Kirby, Mike Taylor, Thomas Taylor, Cayce Bredlau; great-grandchildren, Rylee and Laney Sawyer.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
