Edna Smith

Edna Louise Smith, age 84, of Clarksville, died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Clarksville Nursing & Rehab.  Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Murphee officiating.  Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013 and 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday at the Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Smith-Austin Cemetery.
She was born October 8, 1928 in Indian Mound, TN to the late Ralph and Lena Mae Weakley Smith.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Smith;  son, Alvin Keith Smith; brothers, Carl, Teddy and Donnie Smith; sister, Mary Keel.
She is survived by children, Gary (Judy) Smith, Sandra Wallace, Mike (Virginia) Smith; Marty Smith; grandchildren, Brandi Hall, Meredith Hale, Dustin Smith, Jonathan Wallace and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Cross Creek Baptist Church and was retired as a Cafeteria Worker at Woodlawn School with the Montgomery County School System with 40 years of service.
Pallbearers will be Michael Hall, Jordan Hall, Nick Hale, Dustin Smith, Jonathan Wallace, Steve Smith and Wayne Smith.
