Edna Anderson

A Funeral Service for Edna Elizabeth Anderson, age 84, will be Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 12:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Bro. Larry Robertson will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. 

Edna passed away on December 5, 2023, in Clarksville TN. She was born on March 24, 1939, in Clarksville, TN to Allen Skaggs Sr. and Katherine Skaggs. Edna traveled a lot with her husband, John Anderson, while he was in the Army. They lived in Germany while overseas and when they moved back stateside, they lived in Tennessee, Texas & Maryland. She was an active member of Hilldale Baptist church and loved going to their special holiday events. She enjoyed watching Hallmark on the TV, visiting family and friends, and catching up over the phone. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, John Anderson, daughter, Reva Woods, sister, Martha Slayden, and brother, George Skaggs. She is survived by her daughter Kathy, & son-in-law Edward Quatrini, and grandson James Quatrini and his fiancé, Brittany Marriott. Her brother, Allen Skaggs, and several nieces and nephews.
