Funeral service for Dwight Jones, age 66 of Clarksville, will be Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Sykes Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel and again on Sunday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
Dwight passed away on Wednesday, March 09, 2016 at Clarksville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on April 10, 1949 in Stewart County, TN to Lofton Jones and Elizabeth Owen Jones. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Shirley Jackson.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Johnson Jones son, Walter (Kelly) Jones; sisters, Sue Gladden and Kay Stringer; grandchildren, Whitney & Matthew Anthony and Kelsey & Taylor Jones.
